Across the HamWeg Galaxy, few legends carry the weight, mystery, and power of The Immortal Ghost.
More than a lone crimefighter, the Ghost is a living mantle passed from one generation to the next, an unbroken line of protectors sworn from birth to defend the innocent and exploited.
That legacy begins with Arthur Walker. In 1530 after pirates destroyed his father’s ship, he was transformed into the Ghost who would strike fear into the hearts of evildoers, by a Bangallian sorcerer named, Azizi who used an ancient Oyun spell.

What makes the Ghost so unforgettable is the illusion of immortality. To the world, the Ghost appears eternal, a single relentless figure who never truly dies. But the truth is even more powerful: when one Ghost falls, the mantle passes to the firstborn child, who rises to continue their sacred mission.

Each new Ghost speaks the Oath of the Skull, pledging their soul to the fight against “piracy, greed, cruelty and injustice,” and binding the line of succession to the oldest child of each generation. That oath is not merely ceremonial. It is the moment when a new Ghost takes on the mantle and the awesome power that comes with it.
Arthur first used his father’s skull as a magical focal point, reciting the incantation that transformed him into a being of enchanted strength, speed, stamina, and intelligence. Every Ghost who follows inherits not only a mission, but a living legacy of discipline, sacrifice, and supernatural vitality.
The Ghost is a warrior shaped by a lifetime of preparation. Trained from birth, each heir becomes as strong, fast, and enduring as a human can be. They are master marksmen, expert combatants, and brilliant strategists, often acting as detectives as much as vigilantes. Yet one of their greatest weapons is neither muscle nor steel … it’s fear.
The Ghost uses the myth of immortality itself as a form of psychological warfare, haunting the minds of tyrants, pirates, and oppressors with the certainty that the Ghost always returns.
